Wax Processing

Dilute 2-3 ml of the product in 1 Lt of water and apply to the desired surfaces before you pour the melted wax. This liquid is best in making impossible for the wax to stick on the surfaces. Suited for use in automatic honeycomb makers.

Capacity of two frames. From strong wooden frame and double window. Ideal for amateur users. Trapping solar radiation and increasing the inside temperature. The frames or honeycombs placed inside are melting, and the wax comes out from a specific outlet and is collected in a small tray. A small filter keeps the channel open. The wax produced by this method is of excellent quality and has undergone natural whitening by the sun. Can include an optional rotating stand.

Double-walled and double-bottomed. It features a mobile screen, useful during emptying of the machine. You can use it to melt material after uncapping. Heated by gas burner (propane, butane or mixtures thereof); burner not included. Suggested torch ref.PH10502.

This melter is entirely made of stainless steel. It is intended for melting comb wax to be worked into pure wax. Wax cappings obtained during uncapping can also be melted. The melter works with water vapor. Water needs to be constantly present in the wax melter. When it is heated to the boiling point, it becomes vapour, which escapes through the perforated basket and melts the comb wax. Pure beeswax then flows out through the perforated bottom of the wax melter. Simultaneously the frames are disinfected. It is also possible to heat the melter with hard fuels. A gas burner is not supplied with the wax melter. Outlet can be closed, so you can use it just for disinfection. Capacity approx. 20 frame Dimension: 60 x 40 x 82 cm, basket: 33 x 53 x 49 cm.

Professional machine for high efficiency and very low cost. Capacity up to 200 frames / hour. Disinfects frames. Temperature reaches 140⁰C. Produces an average of 120 g / black honeycomb for brook chamber (Langstroth). There is no need to remove the wire from frames. Requires steam supply for operation.

Α fully-fledged machine with the following features:
- Hourly output depending on comb width up to 18 kg per hour with "Dadant" dimension (correspondingly less for narrower comb widths).
- Roller width/length 400 mm, e.g. for a line with the dimensions Deutsch- Normal, Zander or Dadant.
- Standard cell size 5,4 mm (+/- 0,05 mm). Any other cell size is available at extra cost. Should the rollers be damaged, they can be repaired at a reasonable price. No new purchase necessary!
- Wax melting tank with 70 litres capacity (without residual wax quantity) and 3 KW heating capacity, 3-walled with thermal insulation for low power consumption. No danger due to hot surface as with 2-walled tanks.
- Electronically adjustable speed for variable working speed.
- The transport roller can be adjusted separately mechanically for correct tension. This prevents the wax band from tearing or sagging!
- Electronic length adjustment of the length of the sheets with a tolerance of +/- 1 mm.
- Rigid storage table for approx. 15-20 sheets.
- An electrically operated lifting table is available as an optional extra. This allows up to 7 kg of sheets to be stacked.
- Plastic solvent tank with heat exchanger for cooling the machine with connection to cold water. If no cold water connection is available, we offer a cooling unit with approx. 3 KW cooling capacity as accessory at extra costs.
- The machine is almost completely made of stainless steel. Therefore, no rusty iron parts and no corroded aluminium parts. The machine looks like new even after twenty years!
- Very important: High safety and no risk of injury! Of course, the machine fulfils all safety requirements according to CE standard.
- After work, the machine can be folded up and moved on rollers in a few simple steps in order to take up as little space as possible. If the machine is needed, it can be set up quickly.

You just feed the wax in the machine, and it produces honeycombs printed and cut to the desired size which it automatically stacks and notifies you with a beep when the desired number has been reached. Produces foundation sheets with 800 cells / dm. For an additional fee we can offer barrels for different cell number / dm. Barrel length 610 mm. It might need a separate setting from the technician of the manufacturing company that is charged with 2600,00 to 3000,00 euro.
