Place the unfertilized queen inside along with some bees and the mating beehive is ready to
function as an autonomous colony. Comes with a feeder incorporated on the back side. When the queen mates and is successfully fertilized she will begin to give birth on the little frames.
The queen cannot remain long after fertilization, because of the tendency for swarming.
TIP: In order for the little frames to be built fast it is advisable to give them to a normal size colony first.
