Inside there are special indentations for the bees to easily climb up but it is recommended to use some kind of floating material (wood etc) for avoiding the drowning of bees. Queen Excluder Injected Plastic PP ANEL

Much lighter than metal excluders which makes them easier to carry, install and collect at the apiary. Perfect gaps that do not injure the bees. Just 3 mm thick so that the hive body connectors can be fastened. Resistant to oxalic or formic acid, or even steam (up to 119 °C).
